The entire state of Massachusetts. Casper Funeral & Cremation Services is a licensed Massachusetts funeral service provider.
Q. Are cremations done individually? When after death can a cremation take place?
A. All cremations in Massachusetts are completed individually. We have always used fully licensed Massachusetts Crematories. In Massachusetts, there is a 48 hour waiting period before cremation. Only cemeteries can own a crematory. No cremation or funeral service provider can own a crematory. Cemeteries that have a crematory can only do the cremation portion of the overall service. The Medical Examiner must sign a cremation authorization and certify that a cremation may take place.

A. Yes, we have state-of-the-art funeral refrigeration. Unlike the majority of funeral homes in Massachachusetts that do not have refrigeration coolers, we have the most advanced refrigeration.
Q. What forms of payment do you accept?
A. We accept all major credit cards and checks. We review with you every possible and available benefit.
Q. Can I pre-plan and pre-pay for a “Simplicity” cremation?
A. All you need to do is contact us. We will send you our cremation information packet. The cost of the cremation is guaranteed and will not change. Once you complete the $1,395.00 arrangements, there are no additional charges. We place your money in a trust account under your name that is regulated by the state of Massachusetts.
